DigitalPager

Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

DigitalPager lets businesses tell customers their order is ready: the customer scans a QR code, and their phone rings when the order is ready. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask of us. Questions: ramibaryhe@gmail.com.

Customers waiting for an order

  • You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name or phone number.
  • We keep your order number and its times (when you took the number, when the order was ready and when it was picked up), and whether you saw the alert.
  • If you turn on alerts, your browser gives us a push address so we can send the alert, along with your language. We delete it one day after your order closes.
  • Your phone keeps your current order in the browser's storage so you can reopen it. You can clear it in your browser's settings.

Businesses and their staff

  • Account: the email address you sign in with. If you sign in with Google, also your name, email address and profile picture as Google shares them.
  • What you enter: the business name, logo, colour, address and counter settings, and staff names and PINs. PINs are stored only as a hash, so nobody can read them.
  • Orders and their times, to show you history and statistics.
  • Cookies that keep you signed in and keep the caller device paired.

Technical data

  • To stop abuse we count requests per IP address. We store only a hash of the address, for up to one day.
  • Error reports, when enabled, are set up to exclude cookies, IP addresses and form contents.
  • No advertising, no tracking cookies, and we don't sell data.

Why we use it

  • To run the service: give out numbers, ring phones, and show the TV board and the history.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
  • To contact businesses about their account, trial and plan.

Who processes it for us

  • Supabase (database and sign-in), with servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Vercel (hosting); our application servers run in Frankfurt.
  • Google, if you sign in with Google.
  • Your browser's push service (Google, Apple or Mozilla), which delivers alerts.
  • Our email provider, which sends sign-in codes.

How long we keep it

  • Push addresses: one day after the order closes.
  • IP address hashes: up to one day.
  • Orders: as long as the business uses DigitalPager, for its history.
  • Business accounts: until the business asks us to delete them.

The business's role

  • For a business's customers, the business decides how it uses its order system, and we process the data on its behalf.

Your rights

  • You can ask to see, correct or delete data about you, under Israel's Privacy Protection Law. Write to ramibaryhe@gmail.com. Customers: since we don't know who you are, tell us the business, the order number and the date.

Security

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS), each business's data kept apart, PINs and IP addresses stored only as hashes, and data stored in the European Union.

Changes

  • If we change this policy, we update this page and the date above. We tell businesses about important changes by email.
